Lesson 15: Are You Ready for a Quiz?

 

教學(xué)目標(biāo):

1、              知識目標(biāo):  完成書上的測試題,學(xué)習(xí)故事“Maddy’s Family Photographs”

2、              能力目標(biāo):   能夠讀懂、聽懂故事“Maddy’s Family Photographs”, 并                    能回答簡單問題。

3、              情感目標(biāo): 激發(fā)學(xué)生 對英語的持久興趣,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生勤動腦,學(xué)會思考。

教學(xué)重點、難點:能準(zhǔn)確回答書中的問題,能聽懂故事。

教具準(zhǔn)備:錄音機、故事書

教學(xué)過程:

一、     Class Opening and Review

1.     Greetings

2.     Revision

     Play the game “where in the world?”  To review vocabulary about countries of the world.

(利用游戲復(fù)習(xí)關(guān)于國家的單詞,及其它相關(guān)內(nèi)容,學(xué)生參與性強,避免了枯燥乏味)

3.     Quiz(a competition between boys and girls)

                     i.              What’s this?

                  ii.              What country is this?

              iii.              North is up. Where is west?

                  iv.              What country is east of China?

                     v.              What do they speak in this country?

(男女生之間展開競爭,能激發(fā)學(xué)生熱情,學(xué)生情緒飽滿,并處于積的學(xué)習(xí)狀態(tài)中,提高學(xué)習(xí)效率)

二、Story :Maddy’s Family Photographs

1.     Prepare to Read

T: Look at the pictures in the story to establish its context. Have students discuss the following questions:

(1)Who do you think these characters are?

(2)Are they part of Maddy’s family?

(3) Where do they live?

2.     Listen to the audiotape, read

3.     Discuss
